Residential Solar Power

Residential solar power can refer to a variety of things, but usually involves some use of solar paneling on an individual’s home. These can come either as part of the home’s design or they can be installed afterward.

Once thought to be too expensive for the masses, the price of residential solar power has decreased in recent years. Additionally, there are now more government subsidizing incentives available than ever before, making solar paneling a more realistic energy alternative.

While most renewable energy projects remain large-scale, solar technologies are in many ways suited to small applications. In fact, Kenya has the world’s highest household solar ownership. Residential solar power is growing all over the world.
