Worry Free Operation As quiet alternatives to generators, the PROwatt 800, PROwatt 1500, and PROwatt 2500 inverters are designed for years of totally silent, maintenance-free operation. Internal circuitry protects your equipment from spikes and voltage fluctuations. All PROwatt inverters have an automatic shut down mode that engages when the battery voltage is too high or too low, or if the inverter is overheated or overloaded. An automatic restart will occur once corrective action has been taken. Convenient front panel LED indicators signal not only the problem, but provide instant feedback on battery voltage and current draw.

All models can deliver power levels far beyond their continuous ratings for short periods of time. The PROwatt 800 has enough surge power to start a 1/2 HP induction motor and produces 1000 watts of power for 5 minutes. The PROwatt 1500 has a surge capability high enough to start a 3/4 HP induction motor and will produce 2000 watts of power for 5 minutes. The PROwatt 2500 will surge high enough to start a 1 HP motor and produces 3000 watts of power for 5 minutes. Extended surge capabilities make it possible to run common household loads that have a high start-up demand.

All models are rated at 90% efficiency, so virtually all the battery power is converted into usable AC power. Should you already have a generator in your system, PROwatt inverters make an ideal partner. Use the PROwatt for lower-power or intermittent loads and save the generator (and the accompanying noise, fumes, and exhaust) for heavy-duty continuous loads.
